So yeah, more than half of Colombia's current football squad comes from comparatively high SSA-admixed areas such as the Pacific, Uraba and Cartagena regions.

Even in regions where the black population is low like Bogota, there seems to be black players hailing from there (via recent immigrants). So, long story short, a good share of professional football players in Colombia are black. It's a sport they excel at, you could say.

I don't know why Venezuelan current football team is more African shifted than what it used to be until recent times:





Until recent past it used to be more representative of the whole Venezuelan racial spectrum. This current selection is somewhat more African shifted than the Venezuelan average. They look like if they were all picked from the worst slums from Caracas, or something like that.

Is not as overwhelmingly African as the Colombian or Ecuadorian selections, but still.

I'll say it's slightly more euro only because Central Mexico and to lesser extent Southern Mexico are a bit underrepresented. Although The Northern Mexican players are more amerindian influence than the typical Norteños. It is for the most part representative; but a bit lacking in Mexico minorities (Whites and Amerindian).
