That's not how it works. Or rather, that's not how it's working. You're referring to a number of people who were raised in the USA when it was Anglo-Saxon in culture; thus Anglo-Saxon cultural values could be transmitted to partial/mixed people of Latino heritage (genetically). The main argument of most of the (largely white) Americans on TA and harboring "right-wing" paranoiac thoughts is that now Mexican culture and values are gaining dominance along with the precipitous rise in Latino genetic heritage. Know what I'm sayin'?

I overheard a conservation in the grocery store where a young white male college student was complaining to the Negro check out clerk that the college town he was in had "too many white people". I don't like to have this discussion again, but since you said it, I will. 20% of the "American" population, certainly averaging at least 33% Amerindian, cannot but completely change the USA. In your mixed world down there, that's no major change (it would just make us like Argentines, right?), but in a nearly purely European nation, it's monumental. I will not be lulled into the belief that such a massive infusion of foreign genes will leave us just as we were found.

Irish or Slavs were not enslaved unless you are talking about Vikings. Irish enslaved people as well in the past. No need to spread untruths as if you do people will not take what you say seriously.
