This Spanish horror movie from 1996 tells the story of a female Audiovisual student from the Complutense University in Madrid (Angela), who is doing a thesis about snob movies. Since she goes too far in her investigation when she finds a hidden movie tape with a real torture and homicide of a female university student that was declared missing since 2 years ago, somebody decides that she knows too much. Angela now has to run for her life.

I've seen this. The girl is from Cria Cuervos -- To Raise Ravens. Which is very interesting movie. Thesis is much inferior to Ravens.

Is it kinda like Temple of Doom, just less Harrison Ford and squeaky white woman?

Even tho you might not not notice from the surface, this is terrifying psychological terror in tune of Shining and Caddyshack.
