Horror movies from your lands

Poland is unfortunately not known for making good horrors, I can hardly understand why they are so rarely made as you do not need a huge budget to make one actually. Recently though a decent one was made, W Lesie Dziś Nie Zaśnie Nikt (Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight) is a good slasher. To be brutally honest, this was the first watchable Polish horror movie I think. Here are trailers:

Venezuelan Horror Movie “AYÚDAME” (Help me).

Since he found out that that woman was brutally murdered the same night they met on the old highway, SANTIAGO has been overwhelmed by her spirit; maybe created out of guilt or he's really a banshee wanting to say something. His wife ALICIA tries to help him, but the appearances of that woman's ghost become more frequent. With the help of a psychic named DON ERASMO, they seek to discover the truth behind the terrible crime of the old road woman, putting their own lives in danger by facing a terrible murderer and in turn an increasingly violent specter.

Yeah also if you want international audience for your movie from niche language market, I think horror should be one of the best genres to try it. I don't think it is just coincidence that what comes to Japanese live action, horror was indeed the genre that made some global splash at some point. I wouldn't be that tempted to try watch Polish drama, but I might give polish horror a shot. Horror speaks quite simple universal "language".

I've never heard of it, but looks wild. Is it well known movie in Sweden? Judging by the trailer it looks like it has potential to be worshipped cult gem among genre geeks of Idaho and North Montana, but don't know if that ever happend.

Lordi - Dark Floors. Non-Lordi actors are all American, and its English language movie, but whole production is otherwise Finnish and shot in Finland. Yes, it about the band Lordi
