Most last names on my Spanish mom's side are Mallorcan. My first surname is Italian, but I can proudly say that the second last name of my dad (ending in EZ) sounds very Castilian. It was the last name of my paternal grandma (RIP) who from Barinas state, in Venezuela.

Call stupid SPIC the last name of my paternal grandma, but I find it a very cool Castilian sounding surname, and I am proud of it as fuck.

Surnames ending in -ez mean "son of", and have Visigothic origin.
