In the past people from Cetinje and around were known as taller than others in Montenegro, also there were the biggest Serbs in Montenegro. In the last 70-80 years they turned to anti-Serbs, and Cetinje is the strongest anti-Serbian stronghold in Montenegro today and in previous decades. They became the shortest of evil and hate.
Yeah, it's really ironic. The Cetinjani like to brag about how taller they are compared to Serbians (Srbijanci), while in reality they are no different from them

And it is really interesting how the average height in Old Herzegovina, a term the neo-Docleans from Cetinje claim was made up by Serbian nationalists to divide Montenegro, is no different than it is in towns from 'proper' Herzegovina, like Trebinje.

Yea, i noticed Cetinjani are proud of their "super tallness." They especially like to stand out how they are much taller than Srbijanci who are "dwarfs" in comparison with them. This research shows that there is no difference in height between Cetinjani and "Srbijanci" and Cetinjani are the shortest in Montenegro on average, both facts are painful for them. "Srbijanci" from Užice-Zlatibor area and some other regions/areas are for sure taller than Cetinjani on average who are are similar as average of Serbs from Serbia as whole.

Yep, the only places in Serbia where the average height is noticeably less than that are Banat and the far southeast, but in the case of the latter it could be because of poverty and bad nutrition.

I think there is no such study.

There is a lot of cows and sheep on the mountains near Kolašin & Šavnik (185.51 cm) and Plužine & Žabljak (184.88 cm).

From Durmitor (Žabljak is on Durmitor, and Šavnik and Plužine are close) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durmitor

This is enough info already. My family comes from sheep herders of Anatolian mountains, unsuprisingly milk-lovers. All men in my family are over 180cm (no exceptions).

Genotype is also important but if you want to be on taller side of your potential, trick is easy= drink milk. Examples= My family, Dinaric Alps, Holland...

Yes, but take into account North Germans and Scandinavians drink milk and eat dairy as well, but they are shorter than the Dutch. Same goes for most of former Yugoslavia, they all have similar nutrition yet only Dalmatians, Herzegovinians and Montenegrins are very tall compared to the rest. I think it's 50 percent genetic 50 percent environmental

Probably one of the reason why people from mountain areas are usually taller than people from the plains is higher consumption of milk and milk products (from the sheep, cows and goats). In the tallest areas of Montenegro people traditionally were shepherds, because area is with little fertile land plus climate is harsh. Even today many people there are shepherds or semi-shepherds (they are employed in surrounding towns, but they have own sheep or cows on the mountains).
In Cetinje area in the past shepherd way of life together with criminal was only way for existence. But in modern period people from Cetinje are employed in state administration, some work in tourism, and some are involved in criminal, there is no shepherds anymore there and very few in surrounding villages. Several firms and factories in Cetinje which existed in communist period doesn't work in the last 30 years, and that place became shithole living mostly of state alms.

All these places Kolašin, Šavnik, Plužine and Žabljak were part of Herzegovina in the past (for centuries), Kolašin was most eastern point of Herzegovina. These places became part of Montenegro 1878/79.
Comparison with some places in present day Herzegovinia: Trebinje 184.7 cm, Nevesinje 184.5 cm, Mostar 182.3 cm, Konjic 182 cm, Široki Brijeg 185.3 cm, Čapljina 185.9 cm, Posušje 184 cm).
