Education is not something the state gives you e.g. the state university of Arizona -- education is something you give yourself-- all that needs to be taught to children are the three Rs : reading, writing , and arithmetic then you can let them loose at the local library and internet. Let us be real College is obsolete thanks not only to local libaries and overdrive but also because of the internet including not just access to ebooks ,encyclopedias , search engines but also Khan academy and MOOCS such as MIT opencourseware but one could totally forgo khan academy and MOOCS and get and education just from books and periodicals if one wanted to.
