I don't see darkwashing of Italians on the movies, but i have noticed that many Jewish actors have played Italians on movies...

Jews are overrepresented in Hollywood and many of them can pass for a number of Med populations. That "most interesting guy" commercials - I think it's a commercial for Corona beer - is a Jewish actor playing the role of basically a White Mexican.

While I have nothing against Italians I do personality think you are more likely to find mexicans that fit In Italy more than proper Spain and I'm not talking about "criollos white mexicans" but more ordinary mexicans harnizo/castizos etc

Besides mexicans have some Jewish/levantine admixture something that Is absence In modern Spaniards.

They will say he is not really italian, I dont know if he is though but Giuseppe aiello sounds italian. They say crazyladybutterfly ex-member is a immigrant, I know her though on social media and she tested and is fully italian.

Call me crazy but on Facebook a girl added me not to long ago from a mutual interest group that we shared thinking I was Italian no BS.

I agree 100% with you, in general Hollywood do the same that we see in Anthroforuns. They whitewash Italians and darkwash Spaniards.

The Italian American actor Nicholas Turturro would fit easily as a Harnizo/Castizo Mexican IMO and Luigi Di Maio could be considered South Asian by some people.
