    Nothing surprising in these results.
At AncestryDNA regions and genetic communities are determined by IBD segments. Therefore these things are also sometimes referred to as "recent ancestry". Any commonalities from the middle ages you refer to (will have been before 1000 AD) will have been fragmented too much for today yielding IBD segments that are judged to be recent ancestry. Actually it's even about matches that you have in your AncestryDNA matching list. Regularly 3 of them are shown as examples for your connection with a particular region (if you click on it). In a number of north Slavic regions there are in the case of Stearsolina just shown 2, 1 or even zero matches. This is what seems buggish to me. But there will be an answer from AncestryDNA on this topic within a few days.

She's gonna be back in a few days anyway. I'll be damned if she isn't.

    - Ohio, Indiana, and Eastern Kentucky Settlers

Why AncestryDNA can only find England, and not a German community for me is mind-boggling. And still nothing for my Hungarian side..
I'd guess it's because the English communities have more people in them and so are easier to find matches than for the smaller German communities - Ancestry is more popular in Britain than in Continental Europe, where MyHeritage dominates.

Numbers of people in my Genetic communities:

The Midlands, England - 436,065 AncestryDNA members
Leinster, Ireland - 301,302 AncestryDNA members
Central Ireland - 368,702 AncestryDNA members

    If so, ok.
I see that not only genealogy but even genetic results sometimes can raise questions.

    Previously I had:

    - Pomerania

    Now I have:

    - West Central Poland
    - Greater Poland
    - Northern Greater Poland
    - Lodz Province & Surrounding Area
    - Central & Northeast Poland
    - Central Poland

IMO, there is too much overlap between these communities in terms of the areas they cover.

It is from Lukasz Macuga's Eurogenes K36 report.

Looks like "Pomerania" was dissolved then.

Could you have a look for if there are shown three examples of matches (and not less) that you do share the particular regions with?

    Yes there are 3 examples.

One of them is my 2nd cousin, it turns out we share very recent ancestors (my great-grandparents appear in her family tree).

    =====

BTW this is the extend of their "Northern Greater Poland" community:
