If Mexico were an anglo country, then it would not be Mexico. It would be a diferent country. An hypotetical anglomexico country full of chicanos would be a country similar to Guyana, Jamaica, Nigeria, India and like many other anglo countries that are not populated by british. Then it would be worse than nowadays hispanic Mexico. I dont think that mexicans would like to emigrate to 90% of english speaking countries because they are poorer than spanish speaking Mexico.

If the Philippines was able to transition from a spanish speaking country, to an English speaking majority with strong american traditions I dont know why Mexico cannot despite being next door.
