Yes because he considers himself Spanish and the society considers him that way too. He lived in Spain and was considered Spanish.

He's ethnically Venezuelan, but I believe he has dual nationality so it wouldn't be wrong to say he's Spanish too, though I concider him Venezuelan above all.

Orden y legalidad maestro.

Hmmm... I'm actually ethnically half Venezuelan and half Spanish. All my paternal family is from Venezuela and all my maternal family is from Spain.
I don't feel comfortable identifying as only Spanish, because I was born and raised in Venezuela, where I lived almost half of my life, plus my paternal family is from Venezuela. Then, a part of my heart will always stay in there. But I don't consider myself only or mostly Venezuelan either, because besides of being half Spanish, I lived in Spain, and I have already lived more than half of my life out of Venezuela. For that reason I feel as much Venezuelan as Spanish and see myself as half/half Venezuelan/Spanish.
My case is similar to the Argentinian user MrWog, who feels both Uruguayan/Argentinian.
But thanks for your opinion though

As a side comment, I honor my two countries on my profile. I display the Spanish flag, but my nickname is a description of the geographical location of Venezuela in Northern South America
