The former Mortimer Roma shall henceforth bear the overdue honorific title, Sir Mortimer Brahmin, befitting his illustrious lineage.

No. The Porto-Roma were mixed group of high and lower castes. So some are Dalits and others were mostly Kshatriyas.

Maybe it was honorary title. I heard the Roma descent from low caste Dalits but they were also given honorary warrior status because of the brutal Ghazvanid “Turko-Persian “ invasions especially the ones done by Mahmoud of Ghazani.

If the Roma are low caste dalits and very rich in AASI they are far removed from what they have been once now, now they are 80% westerneuroasian, very rich in AASI are some southindian untouchables who are 70% AASI, i guess if the roma were that they reversed themselfes. That is interesting. How much they mixed, not even jews in 2000 years and before mixed so much. I dont know if that is true entirely. Maybe it is a attempt to europeanise the roma, to make them more european? To say they are so mixed and more european. But they still dont fit physically as european and europeans wont buy it, they look so alien for europe much more then even afghans. How can they be so much european?

It’s important to say, that on upcoming 8 April we will mark our national day. It’s disrespectful from Non Profit organisations to claim ,,international “ Roma day. We are one Nation, with one race for which we have paid huge price during WWII and with one language rooted to Hindi. We are the Romani nation. - Michael Daduc The Roma Nation Movement

They didn't only mix with Europeans. A lot of their non-South Asian ancestry is actually from what is now Turkey and Iran. It's why they don't look more European. Regardless, even if they were 70-80% Balkan, they would still look "off" because of their SA ancestry, just not to the extent they do now.

They must be much more southasian in my opinion and they were not the lowest caste, probably average southasians what they still are.

If they were average SA, then they would not be so woggy even after all the mixing.

By the way, they look clearly mixed regardless of their skintones. A lot of them its hard to tell exactly what they are because they are so ambiguous looking.
