Are Jews and Gypsies in the same boat?

I'm very lax when it comes to those concepts, much more being a new worlder but... the only 2 exceptions when I'm a hardcore one-droppist is with jews and gypsies: those 2 groups have proven all over the centuries that they are unable and unwilling to integrate.

In any case I could consider Mort a second class Austrian or a metic maybe.

I dont think Jews and Gypsies are in the same boat. Maybe for muslims, and third worlders, not in Austria.

But dont get me wrong, Im not saying gypsies are better then jews, i think actually the other away around, that jews are much better integrated and much more successful and much less visible then gypsies.

To be honest no. Jews might be hated but it’s because they are envied, well Gypsies are hated because they are poor, and look alien, as well the survival tactics they adopted like nomadism and theft. Both are prosecuted but for different reasons. I think Gypsies might be discriminated against in almost politically correct manner, one of the few groups you can talk against, but with Jews it’s behind closed doors. The only similarity they have is that both are diaspora groups, and both suffered a significant decline in their population by the Nazi scum, during the Holocaust.

Gypsies also are a superior group in many things: poverty, lack of hygiene and intelligence, crime, drug traffick, etc etc

In my French anthropology book, the author said that both groups have in common high ethnocentrism and living "off" the production of their host nations, but in two opposite direction : Jews at the top (intellectual, white-collar jobs) and Gypsies at the bottom (begging or theft)

As highly ethnocentric groups, they also adopted two very different group evolutionary strategy to limit their assimilation :
- Jews through very high education (abstract sciences, Talmud) and building an ethnoreligion (Judaism was more universal and open to conversion before the emergence of Christianity), in order to avoid mixing with non-Jews (called goyim)
- Gypsies through REJECTING education (no school on purpose), in order to avoid mixing with other non-Gypsies (called gadjo)
