question regarding y-dna test

hello. i'm a newbie, i'd like to gain a y-dna test for ancestry and possibly genealogy, including haplogroups
what's the cheapest and what's the most expensive? which y-dna company would you offer me? any advice and suggestion are welcome. lets say even if i don't want to make an order, i'm just curious about how it works exactly

And then if you want to get deep into what specific subclade and markers you can upgrade to Big Y test with bam file or Y seq for ydna full genemic sequencing I think or wgs400 or one of those test

No, it doesnt do haplogroups. It does autosomal but they are the best autosomal dna test for geneology because they geared it towards that. You can create family trees that. Its tools for family trees are decent and it has the largest database of autosomal dna test. Maybe with exception of 23andme not sure which has larger. But 23andme doesnt do family trees properly so no one really puts up family trees.

23andme is not good at all for geneology. Its only good if you want an ethnicity estimate. Not to do geneology. And it uses an old outdated haplotree from 2012 or something like that.

The raw data from AncestryDNA contains both Y-DNA and mtDNA data. They just don't show it.
