    Remains of a man who belonged to the Sintashta culture, his skull was brachycephalic (175mm length) and the mandible even wider (120mm bigonial).

    Remains of a man who belonged to the Sintashta culture, his skull was very dolichocephalic (203mm length) and the mandible wide (116mm bigonial).


    Bolshekaragansky, Kurgan 11, Grave 7
    Age: Middle Bronze Age
    Genetic Group: Sintashta
    Period: 4400–3800 BP

    Remains of a man who belonged to the Sintashta culture, his cranial measurements (length - 187mm, width - 140mm, basion bregma height - 139mm) largely fell within the modern European average, with the exception of his bizygomatic width (141mm), which largely exceeded the average.

    these looks if not absent are only exceptional in Western Europe, they are exceptional in Eastern Europe as well, but I feel you rather have chances to find them in countryside Balto-Slavic populations than in Germanic/Celtic populations

    Sintashta is basically similar to Corded Ware in Czech Republic and Poland. The Asiatic mix develops in LBA/IA profiles like TKM IA (proto Iranian) is half Asian (45% BMAC) while proto Indo-Aryan Iron Age gained around 40% (WSHG+ BMAC) in Central Asia over MLBA. This ratio still is prevalent among Jat/Rors and Brahmins.
