Here are a few brazilian authors that I think should have more national and international recognition:
- Mário Ferreira dos Santos
One of Brazil's greatest thinkers, that is sadly completely ignored by the great majority of brazilians... his writings about marxism, logics and philosophy in general are fantastic, he even came up with his own philosophical system called "concrete philosophy", that draws upon Pythagoras, Neoplatonism and christian philosophy as a form of reference, unironically based writer, with some works about philosophy and politics that foreign writers simply can't replicate.
- Miguel Reale
Based writer that was part of Brazil's Integralist movement when he was young, also has some important books about philosophy, politics and law, even some theories of his own in regards to law (since he was a jurist)
- Gustavo Barroso
Another integralist writer, the most important one for the alt-right ppl that frequent the forum... produced some good books talking about how the slavery in Brazil was orchestrated by (((them))), translated The Protocols of The Elders of Zion to brazilian portuguese, also an important writer
- Pierluigi Piazzi
Not born in Brazil, but still worth mentioning since he came to Brazil when he was a child and lived here since then... just a full-on genius, tried to promote the bettering of Brazil's educational system, wrote some books about increasing your IQ and things of that sort (he himself was a Mensa's member)
- José Monir Nasser
Wrote some books about literature, trying to grasp the philosophical aspects behind a wide variety of literature books, worth reading his books and watching his conferences...
Honorable mention:
- Nessahan Alita
There is a guy who claims to be him, but it was never really known who he actually is... wrote some books about masculism and published them on Orkut in 2005, before completely disappearing from the internet, still well-known in brazilian forums, chans and shit.
