It technically was already fallen 1918. From there on constsntly but small steps to downfall to a point where the fact that this land will no longer and ever again be inhabited by a ethnic German majority.

The majority don't own the means of production so they have no country. To put it another way the working classes have no country and to add insult to injury the ruling classes (capitalist class or bourgeoisie) can afford to be cosmopolitan and uproot and move to any country they want and govern at a distance through the capitalist superstructure and capital if they want but the working classes can't afford to just uproot and settle in any country they choose.
