If you bought the book you can do whatever you want to it, it's your book. You can wipe your arse with it, just as I can wipe my arse with my Quran or my Bible if I wanted to.

If the books do not belong to you and you seized them from people who want to read them then you are a fascist.

I think that there is nothing morally objectionable about destroying a truly objectionable book. But burning is just dramatic and only draws attention to the whole affair- why not recycle the paper?

These books are pro pedo books they are trying to push in the children's schools. I don't see anything wrong, I believe there are exceptions to every rule. Normally I oppose book burning and censorship. Each case is unique.

So it’s just in the library at school? Or it’s apart of their curriculum?
I don’t think it should be apart of the curriculum but after reading the link it sounds more like the book is addressing an issue rather than being pro-pedophilia and in that case, burning all the books won’t change what’s going on in the real world.
What’s done in darkness will come to light
