Default Solve problems or hide them?

A friend bought a carpet. Some ridiculous lurid coloring, reminiscent of some of the modern art that is being auctioned for millions of dollars to decorate superyachts.

"No. 5, 1948" - a work by Jackson Pollock that sold for $ 140 million.

The merit of the consultant is that he seduced her into buying with a seductive promise that such a design would allow her to hide the dirt, dust and debris accumulated in the fibers for a long time!

Or here's another: discussion on the forum. The lady complains about constant poverty, despite her comprehensive efforts - from diligent work in a private enterprise to her own small business. What did the forum “consultants” recommend to her? Take vitamins B and D! Poverty will not go anywhere, but it will no longer seem so oppressive and shameful.
Provided that she is deficient in these vitamins. She does not know about this, since she does not have the funds for a medical examination. She was advised to take vitamins in the form of artificial additives, of course, since she also does not have the funds for meat from the salmon family or for a trip to a sunny resort.

In both cases, we see a modern approach to resolving contradictions — the antiquated sweeping under the rug is finally a thing of the past, replaced by innovative integration of problems into the environment, where they become almost a natural part of stylish design.

This method is suitable not only for solving personal problems, but has long been used to resolve global contradictions. Remember how, relatively recently, the bourgeoisie and their servants, heads of state and international organizations, suddenly became concerned and sounded the alarm about the environment? Prior to that, they had casually ignored and even helped cover up disturbing research in this area. [1]

And then they were so alarmed that they were not afraid of the incessant pandemic and gathered for the world summit on climate, dedicated, among other things, to the problem of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. But would they go to Glasgow from different parts of the world on foot? Therefore, they arrived on private jets, jointly emitting about a thousand tons of this very exhaust gas at a time. [2]

But they sincerely met and condemned... mostly bastard consumers who daily drive to work in their cars, because free employers are not obliged to provide everyone with housing at their place of work or convenient public transport.

Hence the decision and the goal - everyone, except for the heads of state and free employers, should walk more on foot and, just in case, eat less to heighten the effect.

They, of course, would not have gathered at all and would have continued to hide numerous scientific reports under the carpet, but natural disasters... They began to remind themselves too persistently - it is almost impossible to dismiss them and convince themselves and the rest of the inhabitants that everything will be resolved by itself, one has only to cover this with a carpet something elegant and sparkling.

For example, with Christmas decorations and garlands that consume enough energy to heat a living space during the winter months. At the same time, the festive fun should begin already in September-October. Yes, it is much smarter to save on heating up the oven than to deprive yourself of the holiday!

In general, rubbish, of course, is still covered with carpets in the hope of distracting from the harsh reality, but at least they already admit that something needs to be done. And what can be done in the conditions of free enterprise?

Of course, do not stop the insanely expanding production of gifts, garlands, lanterns and artificial Christmas trees that are so necessary for a festive atmosphere after, which, by the way, cause even more significant damage to nature than cutting down living trees: firstly, because they consume a lot of resources and energy; secondly, because such a tree, like other plastic trifles, will decompose in a landfill for at least five years, which casts doubt on the feasibility of even reusing them; [3] finally, because, according to a recent study, microparticles of plastic, from which all this good is made, are able not only to penetrate into the circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems of humans and animals, but also to overcome the blood-brain barrier - the physiological barrier between the circulatory system and the central nervous system.

This leads to the fact that not only the life support functions of the body deteriorate, but also the mental processes responsible for processing information from the environment suffer, since microplastic particles can cause the death of brain cells. And, obviously, dysfunctions of the immune system. [4]

It is impossible to hide from microplastics either in “ecologically clean villages” built for hardworking entrepreneurs of various kinds, in a forest, or in a cave, or even at the very bottom of the ocean. [5]

And now, dear ones, weakened in mind or body - or both! - welcome to a world where new and hitherto unseen dangers await us. Like microorganisms that could lead to yet another - or even many - pandemics. And again, everything runs into the insanely expanding production of various rubbish - because of it, animals that have lost their natural habitat are forced to migrate to densely populated areas, and among these animals are bats, primates, insects, which can become carriers of viruses constantly fighting for survival in organisms of animals with persistent immunity. Animals have already adapted to the effects of viruses and bacteria, while the human immune system is much weaker. [6]

So, from the body of animals, they will inevitably spread to humans, and all this is only for the sake of that the owners can sell more goods produced by society for profit and personal accumulation of capital.

And not just goods, but rubbish of different brands, most often from the same manufacturer, so that the consumer has a huge choice: which one of sauce, for example, to choose from the many presented on supermarket shelves, even though they are all equally stuffed with excessive amounts of salt and sugar, several times higher than the daily norm necessary for a healthy diet, [7] and the uniqueness of which consists only in the declared artificial taste of some delicacy inaccessible to the general public. As inaccessible as high-quality treatment of diseases resulting from the consumption of all this variety. Together with the oppressed state of constant poverty.

But let's not lose heart, entrepreneurs and their servants are already using the schemes described above for resolving all these contradictions on a grand scale. For example, the very same individuals, thanks to whose efficient management we will now have to “save water and electricity”, rushed to buy up resource-rich territories far from civilization - to develop the production of electric batteries instead of traditional fossil fuels, [8] in order to continue to produce Christmas trees with garlands and a rich assortment of junk, however, now with a green label, without stopping at the same time the extraction of fossil fuels for the same purposes. [9]

What else? Instead of paintings that use canvases and paints, as in the topmost illustration, they are now buying virtual art [10] and other digital assets, NFTs, for routine tax evasion or money laundering schemes — all for the purpose of saving resources, I suppose.

Digital collage sold at Christie's for $ 69 million.

In addition, they are no less effective in clearing the sea coasts of garbage formed after the brisk sale of unnecessary and instantly annoying junk, which does not help to feel happy and satisfied, or because the goods produced were unclaimed...

An example of such concern: the administration of one of the municipalities of Denmark annually allocates more than $ 150 thousand to clean the sea coast from algae and plastic. However, recently it turned out that the authorities all this time carefully collected garbage from the shore, and then disposed of it by throwing it into the sea... [11]

Such decisions are only possible with existing economic relations. Any effective solution includes, first of all, a change in these relations. Otherwise, it turns out that many are also trying to hide effective owners under the carpet, so as not to notice them, or to represent them as an integral part of society, while you need to get rid of garbage, not hide them.

I then more or less solved my current problems, now I have the legal right to complain a little.
At the moment, my Gestalts are closed.

The current socio-economic system has put most of the population in the knee-elbow position, and they apparently like to be in it (for the time being). I can’t help them in any way due to the lack of administrative resources and because of my almost complete apoliticality outside the Internet.
