Did Brazilian nobiliary titles get to survive into the republican era like some French ones did?

No.The royal family was kicked back to europe by our early republicans sons of a bitches and their descendents are nowadays the house of orleans or some shit like that. The other nobles just remained here or fled if they wished to, albeit with no more nobility status you can say , lots of their descendents are just walking around Brazil today ,paying the price for leting the republic be a thing with the rest of us humble peasants.

Republicans kicked the Imperial Family to their exile in Europe, but their dream was always to return, unfortunately the Emperor and the Queen had not their chance to see Brazil again, but they wished they were at least sepulted here as they are not. The rest of Royal Family returned back Brazil around the beggining of XX century and still today they have land rights and tax rights in Petrópolis - Rio de Janeiro.

When they were exiled, Emperor and his wife died shortly after arrived Europe:

    Brazilian Royal Family Nowadays

After several irresponsible republican governants and the military dictatorship, in 1991, after a hundred years after the Empire fall, the REPUBLICANS organized a fake plebiscite about if Brazilian people would want to restablish to Empire again or stay as Republic. Unfortunately, you all know how what happened, after one hundred years it was just unfair to do such fake plebiscite in a hurry only to legalize the Republic. But still many people really admire this ERA of Brazil and our royal family is still very present and active.

Unfortunaly, the Republic try to erase part of the Emperial Legacy, like for example one of the palaces that went fire in 2018, the Quinta da Boa Vista Palace:

But at least, there are other Emperial Palaces:

    Palácio de Petrópolis:

Palácio da Ilha Fiscal, last Empire night:

Paço Imperial, Empire first years when the all the nobility of Portugal was living in Brazil:

Palácio da Guanabara, Princess Palace, females were always very active in Brazilian Empire, in offical control of the country many times:

    Ipiranga Palace:

Foi causado por negligência e descuidos com o patrimônio do povo Brasileiro pela República.

Pra mim foi criminoso, o estado que deixaram o palácio ficar foi um crime. Mas enfim.

No. All titles were abolished with the proclamation of the Republic. But I would say there are two types of nobles after the Republic.

1- those who remained loyal to Emperor Pedro II and never entered political life again, an example is a nobleman called Viscount of Ouro Preto, who remained so faithful to Pedro II that he even accompanied him in his exile in France.

2- Those who only ''changed titles'' and continued in public life, such as Viscount of Pelotas, who after the proclamation of the Republic became the first governor of the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

These days the members of the Orleans-Braganza family (who live in Brazil) are called ''príncipes'' but it's just a formality, as officially they are just ordinary citizens.
