Throughout history, we've praised supermodel looks from the depictions of Venus to statues of Apollo and David.
These are what people long ago thought was the ideal and perfect look and guess what? If these statues were living humans, they would be considered supermodels. This was long before there was capitalism or communism so no, our appreciation for fine human specimen is a natural phenomenon not a construct of capitalism.
