Belgium has got Poland and the Netherlands beat, but no Czech Republic to be found. Pilsner don't render drunk that easily, but Czech do drink a lot of beer.

In my eyes lists of these will not offer the whole picture (or what really means here). That is not just total amount.

I do not use alcohol much (never done that), but lists of these will forget how people will drink it (a little everyday 7 days per week or just once per week but a lot). Meaning how drunken they will become?

I admit this is one of those areas where Finns have had lots of learn from French etc. southern Europeans (and less from Russians, Baltics, Poles etc.). Luckily I think development has gone more and more to that direction. So in this mind newer generations are wiser (having more connections and influences from rest of Europe). Scandinavians will drink a lot too, but their drinking habits have (luckily) been bit more ''civilized'' than extreme Finns. So generally speaking they have had here less to catch up.

Then looking some other Europeans (young adults, holiday photos from Spain etc.) I assume that their drinking habits have opposite become more similar as traditionally Finns etc. had. Bit sad....

Sure, luckily they turn to using drugs instead and behave like retarded third worlders instead of just behaving like retarded Europeans.

Eastern Euros often make their own alcohol at home and that doesn't get into the statistics. 50 year old men literally drink wine or beer instead of water on here and it's often their selfmade wine or spirits

Who? Finns? Scandinavians? Or French/other southern Europeans? I do not know about two last ones (what comes to drugs), but I think people here will not use drugs more than others in Europeans (average level). Opposite it is probably exactly other ways. Just as drugs are still bit more difficult to get in hands (sparely populated country vs big cities in Europe).

Yeah, Croatia too, they don't drink water under the excuse "water makes kidney stones" , "im not a fish" etc.

The exploitation , inequality, and oppression of the ruling Capitalism class has created a tidal wave of physical and psychological pain that is falsely called a third world epidemic. For so called European working class Americans, at least, the death rate from 'deaths of despair' from drug overdoses is high because the Capitalist class do not improve working class cages. People turn to drugs when the pain becomes intolerable.

Alcohol is the most easily available (and relatively safe) psychostimulant, and will continue to exist until something as readily available and easy to receive is invented, but with fewer side effects.
It's not so long to wait, chemistry is now at the cosmic level.
In an ideal world, of course, no psychostimulants are required at all.
Handicraft alcohol production, of course, will remain on a small scale, and it will be "vintage".

Knowing ''basics'' of chemistry (or enough like in many areas ...).

Sure. The risk of methanol (which can make one blind) is pretty easy to eliminate. Just as the boiling point of methanol is clearly lower than boiling point of ethanol. Just not be greedy and wait enough ... and of course have good enough distiller.
The problems are few other longer alcohols (longer than ethanol) and another organic compounds which will have pretty similar boiling temperature as ethanol has. One can not separate those from ethanol via any home system. Those will give home made alcohol the typical ''taste''.

I remember one chemistry area trade show in Helsingfors. There were all companies and stakeholders presence (incl. companies which will sell equipment to chemical industry). On HP's stand one man started to talk us about their gas-chromatographs (how well the new line is). Few local guys gave him small sample (test-tube full of liquid) to prove his talks (asking analyzing it). He took the sample and asked to come back before our buss would leave back to Ostrobothnia. As we came back, man started his dry sounding talk what they have found out. Compound by compound and amounts of those. He ended his talks: Students ... I hope you still will not drink that? That was pretty good/clean quality ''pontikka'' (general name of home made alcohol in Finland) ... but that is not legal and that was also pretty strong stuff.

On buss guys said that they had distilled it 3 times....
