There is no such a thing as Balkan Islam, everything tied to Islam in the Balkans, is Ottoman by essence. It must be seen just as a sub-region of the Ottoman Islamic civilization. The only specificity is maybe the very heterodox form of Bektashism in Albania.

What does exist in post-Communist period though, is a revival of Islam in the region with a more Wahabi-Salafi orientation, like many other regions in the world, through the cultural hegemonia of Gulf countries, and also the shift from higher Islamic studies from Turkey to Arab countries (it's the case in my region)

The symbolic value of being trained in Arab countries is higher than being trained in an "Ilahiyat" faculty in Turkey (as it was in the past, in the Ottoman times). In fact, most medresa students that want to continue studying at university-level Islam, if they go abroad, they all go to Arab countries. Those who go to Turkey are rare or it is for studying non-Islamic subject like engineering.

But still, coming back home, the newly-trained imam (hodza) keeps the Ottoman-Islamic framework, because it's too deeply implemented in the population and he doesn't want to conflict with its dzematlije (cemaat in Turkish, the local community)

Would you say Islam as a whole is growing or declining in the Balkans?

We persisted for hundreds of years among pisslamic subhumans and now I should go visit a mosque because some braintard told me. Also, luckily for me I am also well-read to listen to some random Internet guy who happens among other things to be a braintard.

You are not the first braintard with the same rhetoric. There is one thing that all who spew such rhetoric have in common and that is being really dumb. It can't simply be a coincidence.

    1. So what if you resisted Islam for hundreds of years, is that really an argument? People can’t resist things that eventually end up being good?Brainlet argument.

    2. Brainlet is a better term for stupid than braintard. So you’re not even creative enough to make good sounding insults but you think you’re smart enough to judge the validity of islam? Sit yo ass down nigga

Christianity experienced a massive rebirth in the Balkans after the fall of communism. You should get on board. Get back to your first religion, forget that pedophilic sect.

Throughout years it were always one of the dumbest members with such rhetoric. I see didn't Creoda, Sean, Rothaer, Colonel Grimes, Avgustus etc or someone like them who started such threads? It's always some random annoying monkey. Yes braintard, I can judge the validity of islam and you can't.
