I want an economic system that discourages arbitrary price-gouging on essential commodities like housing and healthcare and prioritizes the interests of working people that are trying to satisfy their basic needs over those just trying to make passive income.

There is really no arbitrary price-gouging in the end. Some thing costs because it has to cost that much. Prices of many products are beyond the power of producer. What passive income for example?

Owning multiple properties for rent or speculation purposes, shares in a company that's incentivized to underpay and overwork its employees as much as possible, etc.

When you have decades of cultural Marxist brainwashing in mainstream media and education, and you disallow any genuine opposition, it's no wonder.

Have those properties fell from the sky or did someone work their ass off to have them? The current owner, his father or grandmother, doesn't matter who precisely. If a person o top of that rents something that has a demand why be against it? Same thing with the shares. Underpaying and overworking employees is another matter entirely.

It’s a trend. Like most social media platforms, people will talk about what gets them the most views. Even if half of what they’re saying is being pulled out of their ass.

Most were just lucky and I don't think people should be incentivized to hoard multiple properties that they don't need just to extort people that can barely afford one place to live in.

Like I said, a person might have invested a lot of money/work in those homes for the purpose of rent. A person might have a loan to pay off. In other words it all comes down to why didn't a person just given that money to someone in need. Sure, that would be a nice thing to do. Don't think that communists will give everything to everyone.

Unfortunately my friend, inequality is what drives the world just like potential drifference drives the current, just how temperature difference causes heat transfer. If you would give every person in this world one billion dollars the world would stop to function.
Leftist usually dream about Roddenberry's Star Trek Universe, but the existence of such life requires input into the system in terms of technological progress and mentality that we most likely will never have.

That may be the case with Hasan. The dude is an airhead. But he pulls in thousands of viewers, makes a ton of money off subscriptions and donations and recently bought an almost $3 million mansion. Guess he does not want to share his wealth.

I’ve noticed streamers will say and do the most ridiculous things because it’s what gets them the most views/paid. The fools are the ones who donate and subscribe to these people.
