Some east-asians are quite med-looking

Watching some old japanese, chinese and south-korean movies, I have come to the conclusion that, taking the eyes out of the equation, some east-asians could probably pass as med... for example, take a look at Takeshi Kaneshiro, as He Zhiwu from "Fallen Angels":




He's not exactly panfaced, his nose is leptorrhine, he has bushy eyebrows, his forehead is not flat like that of most east-asians, literally the major thing that makes it obvious that he's east-asian is just his eyes.

But I would say that east-asians that look kinda med are still a minority.

Probably Jomon influence, interestingly some east Asian groups are distantly related to Caucasoid groups through Siberian migrations, the Japanese are not completely Mongoloid.

Why particularly Med looking? You can say just Caucasoid featured, in which they can be. But I'd place them more in Turkmenistan and even Turkey as far as their pseudo Caucasoid features go. They can't fit more west than that!

I said med-looking instead of northern-european because of coloring (black hair, black eyebrows, black eyes and medium-fair skin), and because they're less hairy/more neotenous than turkish/turkemenistans and other non-european caucasians... like, when I said med-looking was kinda visualizing gracile-meds, but not considering their eyes since that kinda makes it impossible for them to pass as 100% med.

This is not a leptorrhine nose, east asians in general also lack mid face forward projection and high nose bridge all "caucasian traits" their eye órbits and Brown ridge are also different being much more round.

From what I've seen, Thai people tend to be most Caucasoid looking East Asians(Southeast to be specific).
