Who is lighter, South Slavs or Iberians?

Based on (a) people I have met in real life (b) news reports, especially from the 1990's and (c) photos of sportspeople and politicians, there are definitely more blondes per capita in Croatia and Bosnia than in Spain and Portugal, and correspondingly fewer with olive skin too.

How many have you met in real life? In the 90s i always saw blonde and red haired UCK fighters, i think that is not to be trusted this is war propaganda.

Historically slovenes or croats are not even balkanites btw. The Habsburg Empire was the definition of Central Europe, and Croatia, Slovenia were integral part of it.

All the more reason why they'd be lighter than Iberians, being more Central than Southern European in character and genetics.

As you can imagine, I have met lots of Spaniards and Portuguese over the years, through travel, work, education, family and friendship. As for Bosnians and Croats, Britain did receive some refugees during the 90's, though admittedly on a far smaller scale compared to e.g. Germany, Sweden and Switzerland.

Ok I didnt met many Spaniards and Portuguese though. I know that Balkan is dark, if Spaniards are darker they are really northafricans. The average Balkanite is similar as the average Western Turk in colour.

They have a light olive/white skin. Most of them. Some women obviously dyed their hair, they have mostly brown eyes. If Spaniards are darker they are really northafricans.

And still even they have fewer truly olive-skinned types than anywhere in Turkey does.
