Dallas has always been big Finnish team (meaning huge number of Finnish players have ended up playing particularily in Dallas for whatever reason). All the way from days when Jere Lehtinen played wing in line with Hull and Modano winning a cup and 2 Selke's. Also Big Sami Helenius and co. There is even a saying: Dallas Stars Finnish mafia. Current team has 5 Finns: Esa Lindell, Miro Heiskanen, Roope Hintz, Jani Hakanpää and Joel Kiviranta.

It's one of the few sports I can still watch. I hated it as a kid but grew to enjoy it, but I don't expect non-Commonwealth people to like it, it can be a little complicated and boring to the uninitiated.

I like only football, rugby and handball. Bandy is OK but its watchable only at the stadium, bandy TV translations sucks. Individual sports as tennis, biathlon, badminton good too. MMA interesting sometimes depends on the fighters.

Totally dont understand ski jumping, skiing, any ring races (except speedway) . I snowboarding in spring with the flask of brandy in the pocket, but to watch this sport from professionals is dull. Often its just showing of human and technical opportunities with no much excitement.

How can anyone be indifferent about hockey?

I would like to be interested in ice hockey, but North American leagues and KHL, VHL have closed structure without any promotion higher. System of national leagues should have pyramidical structure with chances for any club promote higher no matter what arena they have or budget. Clubs from Europe have promotion to hockey eurocups, but their success without matches with russian clubs from KHL and later with NHL is nothing. Also there are no matches NHL vs KHL. About what i should I worry about in the match of my local club against some China or Uzbekistan based with one-two local chinese or uzbek players in the squad? Anyway we have no chances to promote to KHL taking the first place.
