The myth that eastern Europeans are not noticeably more Mongoloid on average than western Europeans
Any time someone points out that an eastern European individual looks partially mongoloid, someone invariably jumps into say "You can find such features among Irishmen and Swedes". There is a tacit denial that eastern Europeans look more east asian than western euros do, but a quick search of Soviet generals and politicians quickly shatters that idea.

Western politicians *never* look this Mongoloid. In fact, Brezhnev and Chuikov unironically look more similar to Tajik president Emomali Rahmon than they do to any western European politician.
Of course the politicians don't come from some vacuum, they're drawn from the regular population. And of course, you find plenty of mongoloid influenced people all over Ukraine, the Baltics, and especially Russia.
Remember when people were saying that IrisSelene looked "Asian mixed" and some saying she looked Tatar or Kazakh(rofl)?? Well, someone not long ago posted her Russian lookalike:
Just lol, she would immediately be seen as Russian in any Central Asian country.
