There are a lot of fat people in western countries (which are coincidentally the most vaxinated) and there are barely any fat people in SSA.
Furthermore, covid kills old people more than young people and populations in Africa countries are much younger on avarage than in Europe.

I wanted to share this meme because I find it funny. Despite that, I don't want to blame the scientists who engineered the covid vaccines, I'm sure they're trying to do their best. I follow a virologist guy on FB (also ex-teacher at a medical university), he wrote that it's very hard if not impossible to create a good vaxine against covid (a vaxine which prevents the spread of the virus) because covid is unique, because of its unique molecular structure or whatever, I don't remember.

The vaccine has no efficiency against Omicron, there are even evidences now it causes even more contamination with it and he explained why it could be in his last video because the vaccine facilitates the infection to try to kill the virus ... the problem it's not working anymore with the following variants, so you are just getting contaminated more easily with the vaccine.

It was already debatable with Delta if the vaccine was working. In a nutshell, all the effort was put on to control the spike protein, and it's clear with the phylogenic tree that Omicron is far from what the vaccine is supposed to treat (Delta was distant already)

Very misleading statistics. There should be also inoculation standardization, because the number of people with 2 doses is likely much higher than the number of unvaccinated or people received only 1 shot. I only want to see proper statistics. And yes, Omicron has changed the game. Now vaccines don't protect health care resources against Covid. Politicians are clueless. We likely have still bad times ahead if "the big pharma" doesn't invent a drug against severe adverse effect. It is too slow in making effective vaccines against new Covid variants.

It seems to provide a short bust of immunity when you get the vaccine then decreases quickly. Raoult also compared previously the levels of anticores between vaccinated and unvaccinated. Higher anticores were found 48h after a shot then drops dramatically to go back to normal unvaccinated after a week. So theorically we would need to get a shot every week to have any benefit. Millions of lemmings are beta testing it really.
