Marine Le Pen and the National Rally Party,a national conservative party near of Viktor Orban vision,my first choice ,but well ,if EZ is leading why not

Actually, due to her de-demonization strategy, Marine Le Pen put aside the sore points. Also, Zemmour is far above her intellectually, he is amazingly cultured and he masters the art of debating (no wonder why Marine Le Pen refused to debate with him, while he was asking for a debate with her...). On the other hand, Marine Le Pen was really mediocre in the debate with Emmanuel Macron in the last presidential elections. It’s not that Macron was really good, but she was really bad. It was pathetic.

By the way, Zemmour was also welcomed by Orban.

I sincerely hope he'll get elected and I agree with pretty much everything he says and defends. Sad to see such great nation loosing its dignity like that, let's hope zemmour will bring a new refreshing air into this french political mess.

I personally believe he's just a gatekeeper, but with his rhetoric he's a very good first step, for a solution in regards to France's problems, especially when it comes to immigration and demographics.

French people have no concept of ethno-nationalism, everyone can be french for them aslong they accept the French values and are french nationals.

What are French values that Maghrebis and ethnic French (if there is a such a thing nowadays) share that any other man or most other people in the world don't or wouldn't share? You need to learn French and object to speaking English in public?

Good question, I think they are very limited or obsessed wtih islam-criticism and only see islam as the issue that prevents assimilation to the french society, at least thats what I see from it.

France has another approach to identity than countries from eastern europe. You're officially not defined by your appearance or ancestors but by how much you choose to integrate and identify as french. The "décret crémieux" made many algerian jews french citizens and Zemmour descend from those communities if I remember correctly. Anyway He claims to be a jewish berber but french above all. He doesn't feel algerian since for him Algeria is a recent french construction and like to highlight the fact that his ancestors were victims of arab colonizers.

I mean they often boast about the french revolution and how it made the modern state we know so values like "laïcité" "liberté" "égalité" etc are often highlighted even though many right wing french see the thing in a more ethno-nationalist way and prefer to emphasize its christian and "gaulish" (français de souche) roots.
