Do you have some kind of customs connected to food and luck. I mean some kind of talisman, for example some people in Poland believe that carp scales from Christmas dinner kept in your wallet will bring you luck in economical aspect. Are the some believes like that in Portugal?

In Serbian traditions for Christmas they bake a bread or pie called cesnica and in the cesnica they put one euro or back then in serbia dinar and who finds it has luck, if someone outside the house like a guest finds it he gets money from to leave the euro in the house.

In Austria tradition is to bake christmas cookies in the advent, and then eat it the whole advent.

In Austria and Germany it is tradition to eat boiled sausages on christmas eve, i think some do eat fish too as tradition but boiled sausages and sauerkraut is also a big tradition

In Serbia Christmas is 3 days and on the 3rd day, they escort Christmas "out" with horses and wagons. At least where Im from in Banat region.
