There were never any foreign military bases in Bulgaria before joining NATO
There were no German military bases in Bulgaria even during the Second World War, although Bulgaria was on the side of Hitler's Germany.
There were no military bases in Bulgaria, even in the communist years, when it was a satellite of the USSR, and today there are American ones to which even the Bulgarian military does not have access.

Well done Bulgaria!! Finally some Eastern European country is waking up and realising NATO is not all they wished it would be...but instead a threat to regional peace and safety. Modern Russia is not the Soviet Union, NATO has no reason for existing in 2022 other than fomenting WW3 for the power hungry ultra elites. Russia is a potential friend and ally, and economic partner.

NATO are the "bad guys" in the story of life at present. The governments, I mean, not the people who have nothing to do with the decisions on foreign policy. But the people need to wake up (those who are intelligent enough) and start pressuring their govts to change course.
