R-YP5267 Supposedly found in Iron Age Czechia La Tene

There was no carbon dating. But if it is Iron Age based on archeological dating then it would be a big deal as it's a downstream subclade of L1029 and dated to 2200-2400ybp. This would lead to a major overhaul in tmrca estimates of L1029 as a whole if true. Perhaps the sample is late antiquity but I'm not sure what the context of this grave is or his grave goods.

The Czech La Tene sample was added to yfull. However it is staying under basal L1029 for now. Live view remains the same. Perhaps they can't confidently place it in YP5267.

How can a La Tene sample be identical to Scandinavians autosomally? I think that one was misdated, similarly to that Bronze Age sample from Croatia I mentioned in another thread

Misdated or not, he's not Slavic. But the archeological site itself was classified as La Tene. Maybe it'd late antiquity or early medieval. Still interesting.

The difference between this and the Croatian sample is 1200 years. This sample is dated to 200-400BCE.

If it really is IA, there's always the chance these cultures were not homogenous and had gene flow from further North and East.

I think some other La Tene samples were heavily Balto-Slavic too.
