Speak Dutch to me!

The effort of trying to understand Dutch is highly entertaining to me!

At times, it somehow seems to me as misspelled english, at times I can make out scandinavian influences, and in general I get my kicks out of trying to understand it...

So, speak Dutch to me! I will try and make out what you're saying. I promise not to cheat (that would defeat my own purpose) by google translation, babelfish, etc.

I may use a dictionary for individual words.

Afrikaans is also acceptable.

That's kind of harder, wild guess:

Yes, that latest (leek?) naturally logic. Dutch is without a doubt the new lingua franca.

Yes- the last sentence* made of course sense to me. Dutch is not exactly a lingua franca.
