What do you normally eat at New Year eve?
There are traditional foods in Sweden and in Finland, but this evening I decided to do something different. Something from Switzerland ... cheese based fondue. I bought years ago a fondue set (pretty cheaply) but I have never used it.
Now as several friends of mine are coming, I though it could be nice. Ok, perhaps bad for ''corona'' ...
I will not only make small pieces from white bread but also from meatballs, frankfurters, chorizo-sausages, shrimps, pickled cucumbers, pickled onions etc. So lots of what to choose.
I surely have recipes and chose cheeses based on those. But any tip for making fondue? Except do not burn cheese or do not add (too much) alcohol (white whine, cherry spirit)?
