While of course the British don't especially resemble either group, I'd nevertheless say that the not-so-Med types from Portugal often pass better here than do most Ukrainians, who by contrast look EXTREMELY and distinctly Slavic. (The difference even between them and Poles is quite palpable).

You have already said the British look like none of them. This is because of the latitude and geographical location of the British Isles (North-West Europe). One is extremely Mediterranean (the Portuguese people) and the other is typically Slavic (the Ukrainian people), not extremely so.

Ukrainian see most like British gentleman due to those equal fairness. Dark features don't common appreciation like Portuguese med type. Ukraine also smell more appreciation like British mans.

How are neither comparable, when the weird looking blonde 2nd row up from the bottom left with the Union Jack looks Ukrainian, and the very bottom left Ukrainian girl with the police hat and girl with the soccer stickers look British? Clearly Brits look much closer to Ukrainians, but like others have pointed out, outlier Brits will look more like Portuguese, outlier Portuguese will look more British than British to Ukrainians.

Also whoever did that Ukrainian compilation really liked Ukrainians lol, esp compared to the Portuguese they picked, the group pics are fine but the individual/small group pics of Ukrainian chicks are very cherry picked, if I could count on my fingers the amount of Slavic women that looked like the bottom left Ukrainian leather jacket/police hat girl, bottom right pic in the center left with the soldiers, or 3rd row from the bottom right I'd be a Slavic nationalist right now, but alas I can't.

The main differences are Ukrainians have weird, alien looking faces, that sometimes just look Caucaso-Mong or utterly inexplainable, like a new alien race, also more masculine(but there is still overlap, you will also see Brits with weird d syndrome faces, females with masculine faces, and even Caucaso-influenced Brits, there's just less of them, especially in the eye region in terms of Caucasian similarity). Hair pigmentation the same, both darker(haired, not eyed) than European groups closer to the center with more Germanic or Finnic influence. Both have an "average" look, but also extremely Germanic outliers in the case of Brits, extremely Finnic looking outliers in the case of Ukrainians, and woggy Portuguese looking outliers in the case of Brits(see #19 in the England football pic), woggy Caucasus-Uzbek looking outliers in the case of Ukrainians.

In reality though Brits are the more alien ones, because they look more "modern", urbanized, feminine(including the males) and selected away from an era from when you bred like rabbits and didn't have to select for such looks because you could just rape(or get raped) your way across a steppe village to spread your seed, while Ukrainians look closer to the archaic, original human standard. Portuguese people just look like brown/beige people without the hijabs, obviously Brits and Ukrainians look closer to each other, even if Portuguese people probably look better than Ukrainians.
