Yep, when I was a wee lad. Would have to rewatch to understand what it was about, but the gist of it I could get is that they were disputing the attention of Bruce Willis' character, and had made something to make themselves eternally young (immortal, basically), but in the end he ended up getting fed up with them and rather choosing mortality.

Centennials would accuse me of being nostalgic and such, but under any objective metric one could say that the quality of films have plummeted in the ensuing decades. Just compare Shawshank Redemption with anything coming after, and that's just one example.
