Thanks to the last autosomal study by Dienekes which includes now 268 populations and 3,115 individuals, we can now estimate more accurately the North African admixture in different ethnic groups/regions in Europe.
Not surprisingly highest admixture is found in Iberia the only populations with numbers >6-1 2%. Morerover all Iberians (including Catalans) except Basques show North African admixture.

North African blood DNA is minimal in non-Basque Spaniards

Moors were in most of Spain much less than 800 years, except in Granada.

SSA DNA can go from barely 1% to a BIG FAT ZERO in full ethnic Spaniards.

Non-Basque Spaniards only have traces of North African, absent in Basques

But non-Basque Spaniards ALSO have more Indo-European input compared to Basques, who are more plain Iberian

There are some families of that stock, yes. I even have some as contacts in 23andMe.They are concentrated in Gurabo, a community of Santiago province here, as well as the town of Bani. I carry some of that lineage from the latter place, since my maternal grandpa (RIP) was among the first of those to marry out.

The majority hail from Tenerife and Gran Canaria. More the former than the latter.

I think Tinferfeños were always the largest emigrant group, really. Gran Canaria and La Palma too, but less. From what I know of no one in my family ever emigrated overseas anyway.

You'd have to spend a lot of time in the Archivo de Indias looking at the logs of passengers to the Americas, but even then one is bound to hit a wall, since the amount of emigrants that got to the Americas vía smuggling was not insignificant. Nobody really respected the Habsburgh imposed Castillian exclusivism regarding the settlement of these kingdoms, and when the Borbons lifted it, they were only acknowledging a fait accompli.
