Is that a question? You know as well as I do that US presidents nowadays stand just as much the figureheads as the British kings and queens do, or perhaps more, considering the dangerous nature of the so called Deep State. The only thing necessary for the role nowadays is some measure of charisma (or being less hated than the contrary). They can only dream with the kind of life and death, god-emperor like powers presidents in Latin America (or Russia) have.
