That happens too. It seems to be connected to power and extreme ideologies. But from my experience more common on the far right for some reason. It might just be a numbers thing, most pedophiles are men and men are much more likely to hold extreme right views than extreme left.

I doubt it's that deep. Some people (and that includes women) are just creeps who should serve hard time if they abuse kids.
