Vita Cola from the old GDR/DDR. It has that refreshing citrus aftertaste. Luckily it`s still very much popular and thus readily available in Central Germany.

I hate Coca-Cola. It's too sweet or something. I went through a Pepsi phase when I was younger, though I always liked Dr. Pepper the most. I don't drink soda anymore.

My dad grew up in the 40's. He said he and his friends back then would buy Pepsi in the glass bottles and a packet of peanuts. They'd put the peanuts in the Pepsi, and would eat the peanuts after they drank all the pepsi. He made it sound so good. I'd like to try it sometime. lol

Anglo-Canadians call French-Canadians Pepsis. The implication is French-Canadians are poor. Quebec isn't as well off as Ontario or British Columbia. I would think it's better off economically than Saskatchewan but I don't care enough to look it up.

The difference in taste isn't extreme to me.

Pepsi almost always wins vs Coca Cola on blind taste tests. Despite that, Coca Cola is more successful and popular because it has been better at building a brand (commercials etc) than Pepsi. This demonstrates the significance of commercial / branding / propaganda.
