Most sodas tasted better in 2012/2013 than now though, i would prefer drink coffee or even tea than pepsi or coca cola nowadays.

It might depend on the water that the bottlers use. The biggest change came when soda switched from real sugar to corn syrup, as your parents could tell you.

I don't know the year when it started, but it finished in the '80s. That's the decade of New Coke.

Coca-Cola leaves nasty plaque on my teeth moreso than Pepsi does so I choose Pepsi. Pepsi also tastes slightly better to me.
