Guatemala is easily the most SSA while Chile is the least.
The majority of Guatemalans may be Indo-Mestizo/Amerindian for sure but there's way more Guatemalans who are Black and Tri-Racial compared to the other countries.
The whole Izabal region of Guatemala is damn near as SSA as El Choco in Colombia. It is the "black sheep" of Guatemala but there's no entire areas in the other countries with that much SSA.

And there's White Cubans in Cuba with less SSA than your average Ladino or Mayan from Guatemala. But Cuba is obviously more SSA on average.
The average Guatemalan doesn't have much SSA but Guatemala's Afro-descendant population is Blacker than all the other countries and the Caribbean Coast of Guatemala is way more SSA than Veracruz/Guerrero or the 1-2% minority of Mulatos/Tri-racials in Paraguay(never seen a single Paraguayan who looked majority SSA.)

And Ladinos in Guatemala generally have more SSA than Mexicans on average. I've seen a lot of 23andme genetic studies between the 2 which confirms this. Guatemala has a bigger SSA presence and genetics than the other countries even though Guatemala as a whole has minimal SSA.

By the way, how are Afro-Mexicans perceived in Mexico, since they are a minority even in the states where they are more common? Are most Mexicans aware of them? When they migrate to Mexican regions/states where they are rare, does the ordinary Mexican mestizos see them as fellow Mexicans, or confuse them for immigrants from Latin nations with significant SSA imput?
