What music did you listen to as a kid
What bands did you first begin to listen to? I didn't like the hair metal bands that were thankfully on their way out when I began taking an interest in music.

My First album was Def Leppard but as a teenager and tween in the 1990s I liked Country music, like George Strait. I still like classical and punk rock, but Country is best. Southern Gospel like the Rambos too.

When I was 10 and 11 i liked the Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, and Nirvana.
I got into the local punk scene when i was 12 (bad idea). I listened to The Misfits, T.S.O.L., Social Distortion, The Exploited, Sex Pistols, Subhumans, Oi Polloi, DIRT etc. I went to shows every weekend, and some midweek basement shows also. Music was a big part of my life during my teenage years. I am now a full blown metal head, and love all kinds of music also.

Cool taste, i like the Misfits, Ramones and some classic punk bands too, along with some Hard Rock/Heavy Metal and Alt Rock/New Wave bands that i grew up listen to when i was 12/13.
The difference is that my taste is more poppy though, bands like The Exploited or Bad Brains have some good songs but most of their songs sounds too much hardcore to me.
