I was facinated with her big boobs, but then I realized that I liked her music too.

When I was a kid I listened to what my parents listened to mostly which was:

    George Strait
    Kenny Chesney
    Creed
    Duran Duran
    Depeche Mode

When I was like 10 I developed my own taste. I listened to a lot of:

    Alicia Keys
    Usher
    Linkin Park
    Shiny Toy Guns
    Three Days Grace
    Hawthorne Heights
What’s done in darkness will come to light

My bestfriend when I was 13 was a goth who was obsessed with The Cure. She turned me onto them.

I wasn't really into hardcore, but Hatebreed got me through a lot of hard times. I always liked them. I still do.

I listened to The Cure towards the end of high school. I noticed my taste in music softened by senior year. I think it's because I had more control over my life (a job and so I had my own money, fewer rules imposed on me, etc.) and so I wasn't angry. I began listening to softer music.

Both are great bands, of course. They're just different.

Oh, wait. The Shins came out with their first album in 2001. The Smiths is a better example.

Quite a jump from Gwar to The Smiths.

I forgot about GWAR. I liked them.

Those are very different bands you liked. That's awesome. I went through a little indie phase when I was 17. I don't know why I liked this band, but i did.

That's some serious gay shit. I've listened to Spanish metal, punk, rock, ska bands but I didn't like any of them. The same with French and Italian bands. Some languages aren't suited for these genres of music.

yeah, they're a gay icon I think. But I try to left prejudices aside, and If I like her music, I like it no matter what.

That's subjective. I don't think french is a rock'n'roll language either, but this was a world hit I think.
