Night Shift is Stephen King's first collection of short stories, first published in 1978. In 1980, Night Shift won the Balrog Award for Best Collection, and in 1979 it was nominated as best collection for the Locus Award and the World Fantasy Award. I´ve read it 15 years ago and now I've read it again.
I like Kings short stories and these are probably some of the best.
Sometimes the reader might notice that King was young and not that experienced when he wrote this book... but not in a bad way.
The stories are:

"Jerusalem's Lot"
"Graveyard Shift"
"Night Surf"
"I Am the Doorway"
"The Mangler"
"The Boogeyman"
"Gray Matter"
"Battleground"
"Trucks"
"Sometimes They Come Back"
"Strawberry Spring"
"The Ledge"
"The Lawnmower Man"
"Quitters, Inc."
"I Know What You Need"
"Children of the Corn"
"The Last Rung on the Ladder"
"The Man Who Loved Flowers"
"One for the Road"
"The Woman in the Room"
