I counted Dutch house of representatives (150) members eye colour. I excluded those of foreign background so the sample decreased to only 119 members. Because the image quality was medium I had to merge the grey/green category with light mixed. I didn't feel like Googling every member
Results:
Blue/grey-blue 49,6%
Grey & light mixed 27,7%
Hazel/evenly mixed 13,4%
Dark mixed and Brown 9,2%
In total 77.3% light and light mixed eyes. Unfortunately this categorization does not give us the answer of how many eyes are pure light without mixture, but the scientific studies by Bolk and Van Herwerden both give almost exactly 70%. I did this study because I wanted to find out weather this figure of 70% includes only pure light or also light mixed eyes. Now I am more inclined that it includes only unmixed light. TNH also found a very similar figure as me when including light mixed (76%)
