Obesity was medically classified as a disease itself in 2013. Too many men are rendered incels by childhood obesity.

The high rate of obesity in the US, if the US remains the same culturally, probably is just going to be a reality. People eat too much, too much carbs and sugars specifically and they don't exercise.

Unironically the removal of the woman from a permanent household role is what started the obesity crisis. If wives were making their husbands and kids prepared home cooked breakfasts lunches and dinners, there wouldn't be the need to grab junk food everywhere.

I exercise regularly but I eat too much, even though I don't consider 2200 calories average all that much for my lifestyle. I found out that obese people also have to live on 500 calories less than what non obese do.

Even without a real job or family to support you still can't stick to a decent diet and exercise plan. You claim lifestyle and mental issues but it all boils down to laziness.

Either obesity kills or you make it to retirement age and the liver stops processing nutrients so you lose all fat then muscle, fall, break a bone, and with no wife to care, the nursing home authorities are contacted by relatives who can't be bothered with you, and it's off to a bathroom-sized room you go and stay until death.

Most old people are obese, tho. Very few thin old people. The ones who are thin are frail or dying. I think moderate obesity is a good thing.

It is expected and healthy to gain weight as one ages. It actually extends the lifespan. Obesity is never a good idea, but it does not kill you (the 'obesity paradox' refers to the extended of lifespan of obese people compared to non-obese with similar health issues)--it's supposed to be a matter of 'quality of life,' but since people tend to become obese because they're lazy, it doesn't matter anyway. And since millennials are content to just sit at home and watch Netflix, obesity barely matters at all.

Women tend not to lust after skinny men, so 'extra' weight shouldn't be an issue for that. To be honest, men who are thin just end up with fat chicks anyway, since we have few other options.

Its mainly that obesity is considered unsightly, rather than unhealthy. It only becomes unhealthy when combined with certain other risk factors. Morbidly obese is something else entirely.
