On the one hand Ukraine became a classic neofascist country, the government is harassing the minorities, there were serious human rights violations against the russian civilians, the country leads by the army what is full of neonazi extremists like Right Sector, their hero is Bandera the nazi collaborator.
Secondly there is Russia, they have always invaded other countries, communist nostalgia, and run by a dictator oligarch who killed his oppositionist enemies.
I won't choose between them, we should leave them alone, it's not our business what are ukrainians and russians doing with each other. East Europe is a different world.

It's not really Russia vs Ukraine, it's Russia vs USA.
Even Stevie Wonder can see that.

If NATO keeps trying to have Ukraine join, then Russia should build a military base on Cuba.
Or even better, in Mexico, right along the US border.

Giving them a taste of their own medicine. Let's see how Uncle Sam likes that.
