If you ask any Serbians about Bulgaria & Romania, they still believe they are underdevelopped and poorer than them...
I heard that also from people from my region (while we are the least developped region in Serbia), there is still this Yugoslavian superiority complex, still living in pre-War 1990 times, not updated even if the world has changed in the last 30 years; and that today, by all standards, Romania & Bulgaria are better off :/
